Upload COIs on Behalf of Your Contractors!
You asked, and we listened! You can now upload certificates of insurance on behalf of your contractors. If a certificate is sent to you by mistake, or a renewal COI is automatically sent to your office, simply head to Bunker, upload it into our new portal, and we’ll take care of the rest.
How to Upload:
Head to buildbunker.com, and select the ‘support’ widget in the bottom right corner of the screen. You’ll be able to access this from the home page, or from your account!
Select ‘COI Upload on Behalf’ and enter the required information so that we know which account the COI should be attached to. You’ll even be able to enter information about waivers you’ve approved, or other special circumstances you’d like us to take into account!
Then, simply attach the document! If the physical COI was sent to you, you can upload a photo of it, but make sure that the file is formatted as a PDF.
What Information Do I Need?
You’ll be asked for some basic information which will let us know who to attach the certificate of insurance to, who to reach out to with questions, and whether there are special circumstances we should know about. The field contains the following fields:

Your Business Name (Member Account Name)
Does the insured already have a Bunker account?Requirement Name
Description / Additional Information
Insured’s Email Address
Insured’s Business Name
Insured’s Zip Code
Insured’s First Name
Insured’s Last Name

What Happens Next?
Once you’ve uploaded, a ticket will get created for our advisors, just like when your contractors upload their own documents! We’ll attach it to the correct account, screen it against the requirement, and you’ll see their updated compliance status in your account as you normally would.
If they don’t have a Bunker account yet, don’t worry! Just let us know in the form and we’ll create their account based on the information you provide us with.
